(IT) Tivoli TDS Level 3 Support x 2

Location: Perth, WA, AU   

Job Description: Supporting and servicing existing GA versions of the TDS software. Handling Q&As from Level 1 and Level 2 (requires in-depth product knowledge) Helping Level 2 in performing problem identification and resolution for reported problems (PMRs) Developing fixes for reported software problems(APARs). Includes o Developing and testing the fix o Perform regression tests on the overall product. o Creation of the formal fix (PTF) after the APAR is closed. o Certification of the PTF (testing and regression testing of the formal PTF) Required Skills: The ideal candidate will have; Programming skills in IBM z/Series Assembler, PL/X and REXX Knowledge of DB2, IMS Knowledge of SQL, QMF and GDDM General knowledge about SMF, RMF, job accounting, performance management and capacity planning. Knowledge of Tivoli Decision Support (TDS) product or SLR (TDS predecessor) Knowledge of z/OS internals and problem determination skills essential Knowledge of software development (as practised by Tivoli z/Series) Knowledge of IBM systems management products and solutions z/OS systems programming experience Additional exposure to distributed products (Java, C++, Unix, Linux, Windows, AS400) would be advantageous.
