(IT) Technical Business Analyst

Location: Perth, Western Australia   

My client is seen as a mover and shaker’ and is the envy of their peers. They are big enough to make a difference in their industry but still hold on to the values and characteristics found in a successful smaller organisation. They require a Business Analyst (from a Software technical background) to join their existing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to liaise with multiple external business clients, manage their expectations and ensure they obtain maximum product/system benefits. Extensive requirement gathering and experience in writing functional specifications is a must for this career defining position Candidates must be able to think outside the box and work autonomously as overcoming technical challenges and successfully delivering to identified (realistic) deadlines will form an integral component of this role. In order to be considered for this permanent position, candidates will be required to demonstrate the following commercial skills/experience: Minimum of 3 years commercial experience in a Business Analyst position Excellent understanding of business drivers Proven experience working at various stages within SDLC Develop and provide design solutions to new and existing systems. Liaise with the business users and subject matter experts to determine system requirements Meticulous presentation (as part of the role will be client based).
