(IT) SQL/ETL Developer

Location: Perth, WA, AU   

Fantastic opportunity exists for a motivated Developer with a minimum 1-2 years commercial experience. You will be working for one the largest national distributors of wholesale mortgages. This will be a great career opportunity using best-in-class applications (predominantly Oracle) in a structure development environment to build SQL/ETL solutions. You will design, develop and test solutions to support our enterprise applications. This role will include working with the company Datawarehouse and reporting tools. It will also include the development of integration functions between systems. Role responsibilities Understand business requirements to specify and document conceptual and detailed technical designs. Develop software for systems being developed based on conceptual and detailed technical designs. Unit test software and support system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing activities. Participate in the roll out of new business solutions. Support and maintain production systems. Preferred skills and experience Strong understanding of databases, SQL (preferably Oracle) Knowledge of ETL and warehouse development Knowledge of report development Knowledge of interface development Experience in documenting unit test cases and unit test results Experience in documenting detailed technical designs Strong and effective communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A Degree qualified in an IT or computer science related discipline If you have a degree then please apply now!
