(IT) Feild Support Technician

Rate: $60k   Location: Perth, Western Australia   

An exciting role within the desktop support space has arisen. Our client is nation wide with sites spread from the metro to remote areas. We are looking for an experienced field technician who enjoys variety in their day and has the flexibility to travel. Supported by the east coast and working within a small local IT team, this role demands you to be self-managed and reliable. This job is hands on and face to face, dealing with users across many industries at a variety of levels. Responsibilities are a combination of troubleshooting escalated issues and major project work. This position will suit someone who enjoys the desktop space and the customer service aspect that is involved. You will need to have the liberty of flying out for short periods of time and be flexible with your working hours. Experience within the full Wintel infrastructure is desirable, however candidates will be considered more on their soft skills Euros attitude, initiative, interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and a sense of ownership. A mobile phone and notebook computer is provided as well as training and mentoring.
