Very Negotiable Salary Package The Role: My client needs to appoint an Architect to provide software architectural services for a major client Legacy application replacement project focusing on Legacy data migration. The client project will run for at least two years at a total cost of $8M. The data migration component accounts for 20% of this and will involve a team of 3 to 4 people. The main area of responsibility will be: Production Selection – Choose migration tool and environment Solution Architecture – Design architectural approach System Design – Specify migration system to be developed Data Analysis Oversight – Oversee mapping of Legacy to replacement databases Development Oversight – Oversee developers operating with .NET, SQL, Oracle, and UML tools Testing Assurance – Ensure delivered system meets business and technical requirements Work Management – Estimate work to be performed and track and manage progress Required Background/Skill Set: To be considered for this role you need to have: 5+ plus years in solution design and architecture focusing on data base Solid .NET and UML development skills IT related tertiary qualifications Experience developing solutions involving the following technologies: Oracle RDBMS MS SQL RDBMS .NET applications UML tools Data migration tools Telephone enquiries to Michael in very strict confidence on (07) 5574 0655 (mobile 0418 997 544) are most welcome or email your CV quoting my reference number as a word doc attachment (No PDF) to (see below) at your earliest convenience.
